The EMU journey began years ago. Back in 1971, Australia's well-known Jackson Tannery, crafters of premium sheepskin, was one of the first companies to make sheepskin boots and slippers on a commercial scale. Like the early sheep grazers and surfers before them, they had a pioneering spirit. Over time the Jackson's extended their product range to include quality sheepskin footwear and in 1994 established the EMU brand. EMU invests heavily in innovation and design - embracing natural materials, craftsmanship and quality, to create world-leading footwear.
